So we asked Zoopla what set this new Android app apart from the others. Below are the main points of difference from existing property apps:

  • 16 million sold prices
  • first to launch with AR
  • more than just property for sale or to rent – research and search
  • lists every UK home (as well as hundreds of thousands of property for sale or to rent) – free instant values on all
  • Map-led search as well as list view and Augmented Reality

Android App from Zoopla

The Zoopla Android app, much like its iPhone counterpart, is packed full of features that make it the UK’s most comprehensive property market app. With hundreds of thousands of property listings, over 16 million sold prices dating back to 1995 and free instant value estimates for every UK home all in the palm of your hand, the new Android app is set to become a must-have resource for anyone interested in the property market.

And, having been the first property website in the UK to make use of Augmented Reality technology in its iPhone app, Zoopla has replicated this popular functionality in its new Android app, which lets the user point their phone at any property using camera view to display any relevant information such as whether the property is for sale, how much it last sold for or what it is valued at today.

You can download it now from the Android Market on your mobile or visit

  1. In 2011 only Zoopla and Rightmove are spending big on marketing. Both have multi million pound advertising campaigns and I am sure the new Android will prove to be very popular as Zoopla continues to compete with Rightmove for the top spot.

  2. 15% of visitors to Zoopla now come via a mobile.

Thats a lot of android and iphone users researching property on a mobile
