The news comes after the Sydney Morning Herald reported a rise in buyer confidence. Australian  reports state that property investors will overtake first-time buyers in the market in 2010.

Australian real estate agents have seen an increase in the number of property enquiries in recent months. It’s been suggested that this may be due to the recession and the poor winter just experienced in the UK.
Overseas Property Professional have reported that UK websites like rightmove had seen a surge in interest in the Australian House market.

The rising popularity is being put down to the winter weather here in the UK, with many potential investors looking to escape to a warmer climate.
